I'm in constant search for perfect sunstick. My experiance so far wasn't bad but also wasn't that great and game changing as some of the influencers descirbe. Most of the sticks I've tried so far left that greasy, weird residue or just left something on my skin. So when Skin1004 announced that they will have their own sunstick I was very ready to try it.
This one is chemical sunscreen, containing 4 chemical sunscreen agents (Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, Ethylhexyl Triazone, Polysilicone-15, Bis-Ethylhgexyloxyphenol, Methoxyphonyl Triazine). The ingredient list is super long, and contains also some antioxidant, skin brightening, hydrating and soothing ingredients. There're no fragrance, essential oils or alcohol. It has light, silky texture and blue color. No scent.
My experiance
It's another good sunstick but again not game-changing. I'm slowly starting to think these things are just not for me. The idea behing sun stick is that it's compact, easy to use without getting your hands dirty, and easy to reapply whenever you need, meaning mainly outdoor, where you don't have bathroom access. And I get that, but I hardly use them that often. This one also leaves a bit of residue, but it absorbs quicker then the rest. Sometimes I get the feeling it makes my skin oily, but maybe it's just the weather. I really like that it doesn't have any scent, it's easy to apply and very small.
From the sunsticks I've tried so far I like this one the most. But still, even though it's good, I feel there's something missing here so I'm still searching for better one.
