HARUHARU - Black Bamboo Daily Soothing Sun Shield SPF50+ PA++++

Gifted by go.picky app and Haruharu Wonder in exchange for review

I have an impression, that sunsticks in general are this type of product, that doesn't suit me. I've tried several and haven't really like any. The best from all of them is Skin1004 but still, it's not the product I love. So again, I'm in constant search for perfect one. With every new release I get excited, "maybe this one will be perfect?". But it rarely is. And this one is no exception.

This is purely chemical sunstick, containing 4 chemical sunscreen agents (Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine, Ethylhexyl Triazone, Polysilicone-15). Other key ingredients are: Nicaninamide, Tocopherol, Ectoin, Adenosine. It doesn't contain Alcohol, Fragrance or Essential Oils. It's scentless and thas this balmy, silky texure upon application. It comes in 20g package with dial on the botton.

My experiance

I started by saying, sunsticks are not for me. I'll tell you why. They all leave this greasy, balmy film after application. I hate it. When I touch my skin I feel this greasiness and I just can't stand it. After a while I realized that it's because they are made that way, into this solid stick. If it was lighter, it wouldn't be possible to make sunscreen or any cream into that solid form. So it happens every time with every sunstick. Some leave greasier film, some less noticeable. But they all do. So the least noticeable was Skin1004 stick, that's why I like it the most. This one leave mediocre film. It's not the biggest but also it's not the least I've tried. It feels heavy on my skin, which in summer turns into more oily one. I like how it glides effortlesly and has no scent. But the film is something I barely tolerate.

Overall, I don't know if I'm the only one experiancing this because I haven't really found any reviews mentioning it (in general, not only this sunstick). I think Haruharu one would suit dry/normal skin types more, it's a bit too rich for my now oily skin. I'll give it another try in wintertimes, when my skin is less oily.
