Rootree isn't very visible and popular K-beauty brand. But I love trying new things, discovering new brands so I wasn't hesitating much when my korean friend introduced me to Rootree. I bought several of their products and started with this mild scrub.
This scrub is a mild peeling, its soft cellulose particles appear when you massage the scrub onto your face. They gently remove dead skin cells. The key ingredients are: Cryptomeria Japonica Leaf Extract, Wheat Sprout Extract, Corn Mint Leaf Extract and Cypress Tree Leaf Extract. It contains Fragrance but no Alcohol or Essential Oils. The texture is very light. It has perfume-like scent, it's present but fades when you massage the scrub onto your face. It comes in 100ml plastic tube.
My experiance
I haven't used this kind of physical exfoliator for a long time. The last ones that I used got me irritated a bit becase these cellulose partices got attached to my peach fuzz and it sometimes was hard to get rid of them. That's not the case here. This peeling is very pleasant to use. I'm not a fan of scent in skincare and I hate when it's perfumed but here it wasn't bothering me that much. It's easy to massage, exfoliating particles appear quickly and it's very easy to wash off. My skin is very soft and clean after. I also like the package design.
Overall, this is very solid mild cellulose peeling. If you like that type of exfoliation it's defenitely worth a try.
