This serum was and still is very popular and likeable. I've seen it everywhere with so many positive opinions and reviews. And I'm so easily influenced when it comes to skincare. So yeah, I needed to try it to find out how it works.
This serum comes from 6-1-1 Axis-Y line. This line focuses on formulas, that contain 6 base ingredients, 1 core ingredient and 1 effective technology. This is brightening and darks spot fading serum and in this case the core the technology here is mix of Niacinamide and Rice Bran. Core ingredient is Niacinamide and 6 base ingredients are: Squalane, Papaya Fruit Extract, Sea Buckthorn Extract, Rice Bran Extract, Allantoin and Calendula Flower Extract. It's Alcohol and Fragrance free but contains Rosemary Leaf Oil. It has light gel texture and quite present herbal scent. It comes in 50ml tube with pump.
My experiance
Well, I had high hopes for this one because of the reviews and hype around this serum. Unfortunately, it didn't work as I expected. I had my major breakout, that I'm still recovering from and major part right now is to get rid of dark spots, that my acne left. This was perfect opportunity to use this serum but I haven't noticed any changes after using the whole tube. It also leaves tacky layer, despite being rather light. I'm also not a fan of herbal scent, but it comes from natural ingredients so it's better than added fragrance. Maybe I'll need another tube to see some results but I don't see the point. We have so wide selection of brightening products on the marked, that I expect it to work within tube I bought. If it doesn't, it's not worth it. At the same time I was using Nacific Vita C Newpair Cream and it did wonders to my dark spots so I'm treating Axis-Y serum as some kind of supporting product but not the main cosmetic to get rid of dark spots.
Overall, maybe it's not bad but I expected quicker and more spectacular results. Maybe there were some but I haven't noticed them as much as with using other products.
