SKINFOOD - Trouble Care Apricot Food Mask

Bought with my own money

After yesterday's post, here another Skinfood mask, I've been using lately. I finised it couple of days ago and again it's not a product I'll come back to.

Aprocot Food Mask is a calming nad purifying clay mask. It is advertised as cream type mask, that calms trouble and irritated skin, absorbing excess sebum for clear skin. It contains 10% Apricot Extract, Calamine and Kaolin as key ingredients. Similar to Pear Mask there are no other worth mentioning ingredients and the list is full of potentially comedogenic ingredients. It's free of Alcohol and Essential Oils but it does contain Fragrance as well as colorant. It has creamy, melted butter-like texture with organge color and has strong artificial scent that is flowery and quite pleasant. It comes in 120ml plastic jar without spatula.

My experiance

Unlike the Pear Mask, using this one is quite pleasant. The scent is strong but pretty and I must say I like it. The texture is the most unique mask texture, it's so soft and creamy like melted butter. It's easy to apply and wash off. But... it didn't do anything to my skin. It supposed to be calming and purifying and ok, my skin was clean and soft after using this but nothing more. I feel like it's just fun to use and that's it.

Overall, again, I feel like there are better option on the market for soothing and purifying. This except for the pleasant use and unique texture is nothing more than just another clay mask.
