This cleanser comes from Cosrx cleansing line, that initially contained also Cleansing Oil, Cleansing Balm, Cleansing Pad. Back in the days I wanted to try them all, but found some really bad reviews about this line that somehow stopped me from getting them all. So I ended up having pads and this cleansing foam in my stash. I finished the pads long time ago (maybe I'll put the review on blog just as a reminder) and I can see they're not available in official cosrx website any more. Recently I opened this cleanser and well.. it wasn't that bad!
This cleanser is advertised as creamy foam cleanser with Pure Fit Cica-7 Complex to protect the skin while whisking away dirt and impurities, leaving skin feeling fresh and clean. The Pure Fit Cica-7 Complex is compound of 7 centella components (Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Centella Asiatica Root Extract, Asiatic Acid, Asiaticoside, Madecassic Acid and Madecassoside). Other worth mentioning ingredients are Turmeric Root Extract and Eggplant Fruit Extract. It's free of Alcohol and Fragrance per se, but it contains some Essential Oils (Mandarin Orange Oil, Lavender Oil and Eucalyptus Leaf Oil) as well as Stearic Acid, Lauric Acid and Myristic Acid, that have some comedogenic properties. It has rather thick texture with subtle herbal scent. Mine comes in 75ml plastic tube but there is also 150ml tube available.
My experiance
Okey, so this is just basic cleanser. There is nothing special about it. The texture is thick, like most of the basic faom cleansers, it lathers quick, it leaves skin soft and clean. It wasn't drying nor irritating and I think I even like it a bit more than the most popular Cosrx Good Morning Cleanser. There is a bit smell, but it's very subtle and fades away quickly. It does feel good but it's actually nothing outstanding and I tried better ones.
Overall it's good kinda outschool cleanser. But the market is wide and we have better options out there. It also contains Essential Oils and some comedogenic ingredients that other cleansers are free of. So I wouldn't recommend this one and I wouldn't repurchase. Putting it simple - there are better ones out there.
