FRUDIA - Green Grape Pore Control Cream

Bought with my own money

Frudia is one of the brands I've wanted to explore more. I have two of their lines: Green Grape and Pomegranate. This brand is known for heavily scented skincare so I was discouraged a bit but since I've already had their products in my stash it was time to use them.

I opened this cream in the beginning of summer as I read it has sherbet texture and frankly I was amazed by it. The texture is amazing!

This cream is advertised as perfect light cream for oily skin with sherbet texture to clean up pores and balance oil and moisture. Key ingredients are Grape Fruit Extract, Green Tea Extract, Glucanolactone and Pathenol. It's free of Alcohol and Essential Oils but contains Fragrance as well as 6 different perfuming ingredients. This results in strong, pefumed, fruity scent, that's very overpowering. It has the most unique sherbet texture, that melts into this watery-like cream when contacted with skin. It comes in 55g glass jar with spatula included.

My experience

I have love/hate relationship with this cream. I love the texture, I love how it feels on the skin with its cooling effect (yes! it has one!) and how fast absorbing and light it is. But I truly hate the scent. For me it's to overpowering and it lingers a bit even after applying. It was my summer moisturizer and it really provided, my skin was hydrated for all day and it felt perfect for oily skin and that season. I didn't experience any pore improvement as promised but it did good job on keeping my oily skin hydrated. But still, at one point I needed to take a break from this cream because of the scent. Ultimately I finished it but the scent is not something I liked.

Overall, it's great summer cream for oily skin, keeping it moisturized with the lightest and most unique sherbet texture. But the scent is too much for me, so I wouldn't come back to it.
