Bought with my own money
I love wash off masks! I'm not sure whether it's the texture or usually big jars that draw me to them. One of the brands, that has wide selection of masks is Mary & May. I really wanted to try these and I ended up buying them all. And this one was my first try.
This mask is advertised as well-balanced blend of Kaolin and Bentonite mask, which absorbs oil and impurities with soothing and pore management effects. Key ingredients are: Centella Asiatica Extract for soothing, Houttuynia Cordata Extact for pore care, Tea Tree Extract for trouble skin care, Calamine for skin protection and Ectoin for moisturizing. It contains two types of clays Kaolin and Bentonite. It's free of Alcohol and Essential Oils but contains Fragrance as well as some colorants (Ci77429, Ci77499, Yellow Oxide of Iron, Black Oxide of Iron). It has thick texture with little plant pieces and herbal scent. It comes in 125g glass jar with spatula.
My experience
When I first opened this mask it reminded me of Axis-Y Mugwort Mask. It has the same scent and there are plant pieces as well. Both are not so easy to wash off and Mary & May one is thicker. But I prefer this one. Why? Because it really gives you some results. It's sometimes hard to notice any with washable mask but this one really cared for my troubled skin, making it soft and clean. It also took some care of my breakouts, making them healing faster. It has thicker texture and it's hard to get it out with silicon mask brush, so the attached spatula gets the job done. Because of the texture it's also pretty hard to wash off, especially when it's completely dry.
Overall I really like this one. Despite some troubles with washing off and Fragrance, it's really worth trying because of the visible results it gives.
