ROUND LAB - Vita Niacinamide Dark Spot Serum

Bought with my own money

Round Lab is one of my favourite brands. I look up for every new release they have so when I spotted this and the price was so good I decided to give it a go. This serum along with cream and sheet mask come from the newest Vita Niacinamide Line, that focuses one fighting darks spots and evening skin tone.

This serum is advertised as dark spot fighting serum with Triple Vita Activer (Round Lab unique ingredient) and Niacinamide that brightens the skin and smooths out uneven skin texture. Triple Vita Activer is blend of 3 types of Vitamin C compounds (Hippphae Rhamnoides Water, Hippophae Rhamnoides Fruit Extract and 3-O -Ethyl Ascorbic Acid - stable form of Ascorbic Acid). That supposes to work to provide intensive care for various concerns for darks spot and skin tone.

Let's look at the ingredient list. It's medium size and contains a lot of goodies. Frist we have Hippophae Rhamnoides Water and Niacinamide. Than Panthenol and Tranexamic Acid, some plant extracts, Hydrogenated Lecitin, Ceramide NP, Bisabolol and mentioned before Hippophae Rhamnoides Fruit Extract and 3-O -Ethyl Ascorbic Acid. It's free of Alcohol, Essential Oils and Fragrance. It has viscous texture with little yellow beads in transparent gel-like serum. It's scentless and comes in 30ml plastic bottle with dropper.

My experience

I'm using Vitamin C (or its derivatives) serum every day in my morning routine. Basically it's for its antioxidant properties but when it fights my dark spots is big plus for me. Recently I opted for less tacky and fast absorbing serums, that contain Vitamin C derivatives not the pure version, so I was happy to open new Round Lab one. At first you'll never know how it would be but ultimately this one ended up being good just for the antioxidation. I love that it's scentless and how quickly it absorbs, making it great morning serum but it did nothing to my dark spots. It's just too weak for me and I don't see any improvement.

So summing up, if you're looking just for antioxidant serum for your morning routine - this one would be great as it lightweight and fast absrobing but if you want it to get rid of your dark spots - it won't work (at least for me).

For now I'm getting back to stronger, pure versions of Vitamin C, so I'm hoping my dark spots will be gone soon.
