This cream along with Snail Essence are signature Cosrx products, known all around the world and loved by many. Finally I got the chance to try both. So does it live up to the hype? Let's find out.
This cream is advertised as high concentration (92%) Snail Secretion Filtrate to create unique consistency, that locks in moisture, leaving skin with lasting, healthy, dewy glow. It nourishes, repairs and rejuvenate skin, combating dryness with powerful, simplified skincare.
Let's talk ingredients. I love how simple the INCI is, it has only 22 ingredients. Key ingredients are 92% Snail Secretion Filtrate and 1,000 ppm Sodium Hyaluronate. Other worth mentioning are: Betaine, Allantoin, Panthenol and Adenosine. It's free of Alcohol, Essential Oils and Fragrance. It comes in 100ml plastic jar with spatula and no scent. The texture is gooey but surprisingly light.
My experience
Simply, I love this cream! It surely does live up to the hype. I love how light it is, how easily it absorbs and that it's scentless. Moreover, I love how multitasking it is. I can't believe how it addresses all the needs I had at any moment. It was nourishing, hydrating, repairing and soothing. My skin was like new after using this cream. What's more it somehow adjust to my skin and was great in the winter as well in the summer. I used it as my morning moisturizer in summertime and it wasn't sticky, absorbed fast.
The jar is big and it seems impossible to finish, because you don't need much of it. But because shelf live of my copy was getting closer I was putting way more than I needed at times. And still it behaved so good, with greater amount of product.
Overall I think this is my number one cream because of how versatile it is. I know some of you are allergic to Snail Mucin but if you are not this one is just best cream out there! Highly recommend for all your skin troubles!
