TOCOBO - Bio Watery Sun Cream SPF50+ PA++++

Bought with my own money

Last year I saw this sunscreen everywhere in my Social Medias, so I was very intrigued by it and (of course) wanted to try it. An opportunity came when my friend contacted me, so I ended up buying this suncreen along with sunstick from this line. Immediately after getting it, I opened it and used it. I was so excited because it seemed like I finally found the best sunscreen, it was runny, light and behaved greatly on my skin. But due to a lot of opened spfs in my stash I thought it would be perfect to use at summer so I left it for this season. And it wasn't the best idea....

This sunscreen is advertised as cruelty free and vegan spf with mild formula and naturally derived ingredients to make your skin comfortable. This is chemical sunscreen, containing 5 chemical sunscreen agents (Ethylhexyl Triazone, Terephthalylidene Dicamphor Sulfonic Acid, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, Polysilicone-15 and Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenol Triazine). Other key ingredients are Niacinamide, Adenosine, Sodium Hyaluronate, Phellodendron Amurense Bark Extract, Sophora Flavascens Rooth Extract and Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract. It's free of Alcohol but contains Essential Oil (Cotton Seed Oil) and Fragrance. It has very light, runny texture and smells like fresh flowers. It comes in 50ml plastic tube.

My experience

Okey, so the first impression was very good. Despite it having some scent I was so excited by the runny, light texture that absorbed so fast with this natural finish and wasn't irritating at all. But when I got back to it in the summer it turned out that the texture was kinda tricky. It was way more moisturizing than I remembered it being in the winter. Ultimately it also didn't work well with my summer moisturizer making it peeling a bit. So again I decided to skip it for summer and wait for autumn to get back to it.

Now I have almost finished it because as the weather got a bit colder this suncreeen works well again. But with this summer experiance I can't say it's my favourite sunscreen. I think it'll work well for dry skin types for all year and for oily skin in colder moths beacuse it gives a lot of additinal moisture.

Overall it's not bad but it's also not that versatile as I thougt. It didn't work for me in Summer but still it's a good product to try.
