Another product from the Zero Pore Line is the Zero Exosome Shot 2000. This one contains microneedles, which are very popular nowadays thanks to VT Cosmetics' Reedle Shots.
Let’s check how the brand advertises this one.
This ampoule contains a formula that physically delivers active ingredients into the pores, providing daily intensive treatment for home use. It targets pore size, smooths skin texture, strengthens the skin barrier, and promotes a radiant complexion.
Key ingredients in this ampoule include: spicules (Hydrolyzed Sponge), PHA (Gluconolactone), BHA (Betaine Salicylate), Niacinamide, and Panthenol.
The INCI list is relatively short and free of Alcohol, Essential Oils, and Fragrance. This ampoule has a creamy texture with no scent. The tingling sensation is noticeable but manageable. It comes in a 30 ml bottle with a pump.
My experiance
After finishing my Reedle Shot 300, I turned to this ampoule. I was disappointed with the lack of visible results from VT, so I had high hopes for this one.
The first noticeable thing is that this ampoule takes some time to fully absorb — and you know I don’t like that. The VT version absorbed faster and made it easier to move on to the next steps in my routine.
This ampoule is advertised as a mild, daily-use product, unlike the stronger 7500 Shot. But the tingling feeling is actually more intense than with VT’s Reedle Shot 300. You also need to be careful when pairing this with other skincare products — for me, it didn’t work well with everything. I’ve almost finished the bottle, and I haven’t seen any visible results in my pores or overall skin condition. I used it 2–3 times a week, and maybe that’s the reason — but still, I expected more.
I’m starting to think that this whole spicules trend may not be for me. I’ve used almost the entire bottle and seen no real results. Maybe I didn’t use it often enough, maybe my routine wasn’t right, or maybe I need Medicube’s own device to see a difference. Either way, I’m kind of disappointed.
What’s more, I suspect this ampoule may have caused my acne to return. I started using it when my previous breakout was almost healed. At that time, I was focused on calming my skin, avoiding strong actives, and sticking to gentle products. But shortly after introducing this ampoule, my skin broke out again.
Since it was the only new active product I added at the time, I suspect it could be the cause. Of course, with the number of products I test, I can’t say for sure — but after putting it aside, my skin started to improve.
Overall, I had high hopes for this ampoule, but it didn’t live up to my expectations. I’d even say that the Reedle Shot was better in terms of application and comfort. Sadly, I don’t recommend this one. I still have four more products from this line to test — so we’ll see how they go!
