I feel like Axis-Y is not my go-to brand. So far, I’ve tried six of their products, and only two of them truly impressed me (the physical sunscreen and blemish treatment). However, I don’t easily give up on brands, and I’m glad I didn’t, because this Artichoke Barrier Ampoule is absolutely amazing!
Let’s take a look at how Axis-Y advertises it. This ampoule is marketed as the go-to solution for barrier support, hydration, and visible skin resilience. Powered by Artichoke Extract and a blend of Centella Asiatica, Licorice Root, and Aloe, it helps improve your skin’s natural ability to protect, heal, and stay calm.
I’m really impressed by the ingredient list. It starts with Sodium Hyaluronate (4th on the list), Centella Asiatica Extract (5th), followed by Artichoke Extract (10,000ppm), Aloe Leaf Extract, and several other plant-based extracts. It finishes with Polyglutamic Acid, Beta-Glucan, Arginine, Allantoin, and Adenosine. It’s free from Fragrance, Alcohol, and Essential Oils. The texture is viscous but very light, with no scent.
My experience:
I’d read so many positive reviews about this ampoule, especially regarding its ability to support the skin barrier, so I had to try it for myself. And I can say that the hype is completely justified! This ampoule is fantastic. First, it’s a pleasure to use: light, fast-absorbing, and perfect for both morning and evening routines. It’s fragrance-free, which I prefer. The ingredient list is impressive, with no harmful components. And, of course, the best part—it really works!
Since I started using it, my skin has improved so much. I had been dealing with occasional breakouts (which were becoming more frequent lately) and dark post-acne marks. Not only did this ampoule help to heal them faster, but it also helped prevent new ones from appearing. I’m genuinely surprised by how well it’s worked. I absolutely adore this ampoule!
I would highly recommend this to anyone struggling with maintaining a healthy skin barrier or looking to repair it. It’s an amazing product, suitable for all skin types.
