ISNTREE - Ultra Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Serum

Gifted by the brand in exchange for review

I first discovered the Ultra Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid line by Isntree while browsing through the brand's products on YesStyle. There was a major Isntree sale at the time, and while I was deciding what to purchase, I came across two products from this line: the serum and the toner. They were relatively unknown back then—no one on my social media had mentioned them—but I decided to get both anyway. Not long ago, Isntree sent this duo as PR, and I happened to be one of the people who received it. That left me with two sets, so I gave one to a friend. Over time, the line expanded with the addition of pads and a cream. I now have the entire line, although I haven’t tried the pads yet. Today, I’m sharing my thoughts on the serum.

Let's check what brand has to say about their product. According to Isntree, the serum is infused with mineral-rich deep seawater from Ulleung Island, Korea, to boost skin vitality. It contains 14 types of hyaluronic acid to restore moisture and strengthen the skin barrier. Glyceryl glucoside and Madecassoside help retain deep moisture for 24 hours while also offering anti-inflammatory benefits. The lightweight formula is said to absorb quickly, leaving skin instantly hydrated and refreshed.

Looking at the ingredients list, the first ingredient is Sea Water, as the brand claims. Then come 13 types of Hyaluronic Acid (not 14 as brand claims but I'm not sure which brand count as 14). Other noteworthy ingredients include Panthenol, Allantoin, Madecassoside, and Beta-Glucan, all of which appear toward the end of the INCI list. The serum is free from Alcohol, Fragrance and Essential Oils. It has a lightweight, watery texture with no noticeable scent and a slightly blue tint. It comes in a 50ml plastic bottle with a dropper.

My experience

I love this serum. It does exactly what it claims—keeps my skin hydrated throughout the day. It’s lightweight and absorbs quickly, whether applied on damp skin or on its own. I’ve never had any issues with absorption. It fits seamlessly into any routine, though I mostly used it in the mornings. That said, it’s a solid and effective hydrating serum, but it doesn’t go beyond that. I wouldn’t expect strong anti-inflammatory effects, especially since the ingredients responsible for those benefits are listed at the very end.

Overall, it’s an excellent option for anyone looking for a hydrating, clean, and gentle serum. Safe for sensitive skin. Initially, I was going to rate it 9/10 because it seemed pretty basic. But after finishing it and trying to replace it with other hydrating serums, none of them measured up. That made me realize how good it actually is, so I ended up giving it a 10/10—it truly deserves it.
